Aluminium wall/parapet coping in 3 metre lengths, made to your wall width, any RAL colour. Weatherproof capping with concealed brackets.
Express Alu Pro Aluminium Coping is a parapet and wall capping in aluminium, supplied in 3 metre lengths and made to your wall width. It gives a weatherproof, low-maintenance cap to the top of a wall or parapet.
Each length is folded to a drip on both faces so rainwater is thrown clear of the wall. The coping sits on concealed support brackets with an EPDM rubber gasket, and the coping width is the wall width plus around 60mm to give the overhang.
It is made to order in aluminium, powder-coated to any RAL colour.

What width coping do I need?
Measure the finished width of the wall — including any render, insulation or brick slip that will be on it when the job is done, not the blockwork as it stands today — and allow roughly 30mm of overhang each side so the drip throws water clear of the wall face. So a 300mm finished wall generally wants a 360mm coping.
If you tell us the wall width we will work it out and confirm before anything is made.
How are corners and joints handled?
Corners are made as pressed pieces rather than mitred on site, so the fold runs continuously round the return. Straight joints use a concealed sleeve with a gasket, which lets the sections move with temperature while staying weathertight — coping runs are long and aluminium moves, so a rigidly sealed joint will eventually fail.
What lengths does it come in?
Three metres is standard. Longer runs are made up from several lengths with jointing sleeves, and we will set out where those joints fall so they look deliberate rather than random.
Does it fix through the top face?
No — that is the point of it. The coping sits on concealed support brackets fixed to the wall, so there are no fixings through the weathering surface and nothing to leak or to see.
